The Common CV Network is a partnership of Canadian organizations that provide research funding, working together to streamline the process researchers use to submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV). The Common CV system, launched in July 2002, is a web-based tool that allows researchers to manage their CV data in a single repository and generate multiple CVs to member organizations.
System Maintenance Schedule: System maintenance is scheduled daily during the following periods : 7am - 8am EST. Access to the Common CV is not guaranteed during those times.
Researchers can use the Common CV System to:
- enter and store CV data
- validate data to meet requirements of a specific agency
- generate and print a CV for submission to member agencies
- apply to become a peer reviewer
Currently, researchers can use the Common CV System to submit their CV to organizations on our
members page.
Seventeen organizations from the federal, provincial and voluntary sectors participated in the development of the Common CV system. Check the
News and
Members page regularly to see when other organizations are implementing the Common CV.
